The SSMA Breeder Directory provides contact information for breeders who are working to preserve and promote SSMA-registered Spanish Mustangs. Listings are provided as a resource for those interested in learning more about individual breeding programs or locating SSMA-registered horses.

Who Is Considered the Breeder?

For SSMA registry purposes, the breeder of a horse is the owner or documented lessee of the mare at the time she was bred.

How to Be Listed

Current SSMA members who actively own or lease SSMA-registered breeding horses may request a listing in the SSMA Breeder Directory.

To request a new listing or update an existing listing, please complete the SSMA Breeder Directory Listing and Update Form. Breeders may provide their breeder name, ranch or farm name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, website, and social media information for inclusion in the directory.

All listings are subject to review, and breeders are responsible for notifying the SSMA Registrar when their contact information or breeding program information changes.
