SSMA Registry Services
The Southwest Spanish Mustang Association maintains official registry records for eligible Southwest Spanish Mustangs. Current SSMA membership is required for most registry services, including horse registration, transfers, ownership updates, and certificate requests.
Before submitting a registration or transfer request, please review the SSMA Guidelines & Rules.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
For new or renewing SSMA members. Current membership is required for most registry services.
TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP
For transferring ownership of an already SSMA-registered horse. Original certificates and required documentation may still need to be mailed.
Please note: Transfer requests may require the original certificate of registration and supporting documentation to be mailed to SSMA before the transfer is finalized.
GREEN SHEET / BREEDING REPORT
For reporting breedings, foals, or breeder-related registry information, if required by SSMA procedures.

SSMA may request photos, videos, ownership records, DNA information, parentage verification, or other documentation when needed.
Transfers May Require Mailing
Transfer requests may require original certificate of registration and supporting documents to be mailed before the transfer is finalized.
Paper Forms & Mail-In Options
For members or applicants who prefer traditional paper submissions, SSMA will continue to accept approved forms and supporting documentation by mail according to SSMA procedures.
